| Very less peoples know that Inspite of great epics 'Aadi Valmiki Ramayan', 'Yoga Vasistha' & 'Shri Ram Samvaad', Bhagwan Valmiki Ji had also written AKSHAR LAKSHYA - a literature of Geography, Mathematics- Geometry, equation & theorems, Biology, Cosmology, Biology, Embryology, Physiology, Sociology and Metaphysics and lot many other scientific subjects . Inspite of Literary Knowledge Bhagwan Valmiki was also a master, well known, well versed & great Scholar of Yogvidhya, Jyotish Vidhya, Sanget Vidya & Sanjivini Vidya. Great Scholar Dr. VAK 'Aayar' ,Director of Bhartiya Vidyaa Bhawan- Bangalore in his book "Hindu Shastra and Sanskaars" (Page 19) writes - "The first that calls for mention is the encyclopedic shastra which goes by the name 'AKSHAR LAKSHA', the authorship of this science is attributed to Sage Valmiki, All kinds (325 to be exact) of Mathematics including Modern Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Physics or Applied Mathematics, Mineralogy, Hydels, The method of measuring air, heat and even electricity, Geography etc, are said to have been treated." Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru after reading Aksharalaksha in its praise said - "This book appears to be an important and interesting one" Shri J.V.
